Question about Warlocks in Bewitched?

Sorry if this is vague. Could someone tell me some facts about Warlocks from the tv series Bewitched? If I’m not mistaken I believe that, for example, if a Warlock doesn’t want to be turned into something, he can’t be turned into that something?

I don’t know about those details, but from what I remember about watching the show a long time ago a warlock was just a male witch. So anything that Samantha could do, a warlock could do. Like Doctor Bombay.
